The calendula (Calendula Officinalis flower extract) is extracted from the flowered extremities of the homonymous plant. It is widely used in the phytocosmetics for its nutrient and protective properties and for its lenitive, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action. In cream, it speeds up the healing in cases of sunburns, burns, sores, little wounds, abrasion and chilblains. The presence of allantoin and lecithin improves the lenitive action of this preparation, making it particularly recommended for the sensitive skin of children and elderly people.
