PUSH Ortho Aequi Junior

Aequi Junior functional ankle brace offers the right balance between effective mechanical support and optimal comfort in all cases of ankle injury (acute, subacute and chronic). The orthosis is was designed for children from 6 to 12 years of age, with shoe sizes between size 30 and size 37. The Aequi Junior brace stabilizes the ankle joint during both inversion and eversion movements and, indifferently, in the flexed and neutral positions. Unrestricted plantar flexion and dorsiflexion movements ensure normal walking. Optimal functioning of the brace is achieved by wearing it in a sturdy shoe with laces.

Indications: acute injuries of the ankle ligaments, caused by trauma in both inversion and eversion - stabilization of ankle fractures treated conservatively or surgically - instability residual joint pain (chronic ligament laxity) - secondary prevention of ankle ligament injuries.
